Impact’s “win-win” approach to philanthropy is extremely appealing as it uses membership fees, after a serious vetting process of grant applications, to fund significant awards to deserving non-profits in our community. This furthers positive change in our community. Moreover, Impact’s events enable members to connect with each other, develop their horizons, and expand Impact’s exposure in the community. As a result, Impact increases the membership base, and thereby, grows funds available for more grants to be awarded in the future,
Impact’s approach requires commitment by members to pursue its mission, and, in the same way, consulting requires clients'’ “buy-in” to achieve change; indeed, both personally and within Impact, the more clarity we have about ourselves, the better we can move forward with greater success.
