We are proud to present Laureen Hunter as this month’s member spotlight.
Laureen has been a commercial real estate broker for many years starting in Silicon Valley in the late 80’s and then locally with Touchstone Webb Realty Company in West Palm Beach since 1994. She specializes in the leasing and sales of office, industrial and retail properties. Her clients include both private corporate businesses as well as numerous local nonprofit organizations. Her passion is assisting clients to secure the best business terms possible for the workplace environment in which they can thrive.
She is a Legacy member, having joined in 2017. Several of her BFs were instrumental in the founding of Impact the Palm Beaches and she is very impressed with the concept of joining together to pool our funds to achieve a greater “impact” in our community than we can achieve individually.
Before arriving in South Florida she had never lived in one place for more than a few years. Although she was richly blessed to travel, explore and live abroad in many parts of the world, being a resident of Singer Island and West Palm Beach provided her first opportunity to put down roots, contribute to and be part of a caring, dynamic community of friends and associates. She and her husband were early members of the Palm Beach Sailing Club and over the years she’s been an active member of CREW Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, Executive Women, Leadership Palm Beach County, a Nonprofits First Affiliate member and other community groups. She loves Palm Beach County and the opportunity to make it an even better place to live and serve others.
Laureen currently lives with her little rescue dog “Tina” in West Palm Beach in a small gated community on the Bear Lakes Country Club golf course. She relocated to Palm Beach County from the San Francisco Bay Area in 1991 but is originally from Northern Minnesota.
