Impact the Palm Beaches Awarded $233,000 in Grants

Four Local Charities Awarded Impact Grants During Awards Celebration

WEST PALM BEACH FL-(May 3, 2022) Impact the Palm Beaches hosted the 7th Annual Impact Awards Celebration on April 28, at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach. During this special evening, Impact the Palm Beaches awarded high-impact grants totaling $233,000 to nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County.


The two $100,000 Impact Grant recipients were Vita Nova -Transportation for Success and

Feed the Hungry Pantry of Palm Beach County - Feed the Hungry Solar-Powered, Refrigerated Container Project. The two Merit Grant recipients were Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County -Building Better Readers and Project LIFT, Inc - Pathway Academy of Innovation.



The 2022 Impact event was an exciting evening where finalists presented their request for funding to Impact the Palm Beaches members, a vote was taken, and the awards were distributed. With each member contributing $1,000, Impact the Palm Beaches marked another milestone, as the charitable organization has now awarded over $1 million to local nonprofits who are making transformational change in our community.


Nearly 200 Members and guests enjoy cocktails and light bites while mingling with the finalists before the presentations began. The emcee of the event was Keli Ferguson, née Fulton, an Emmy award-winning sports anchor for ESPN 106.3 on WPTV and FOX29 in West Palm Beach, FL.


Sponsors of the 7th Annual Impact Awards Celebration were Baptist Health, Palm Health Foundation, and ESPN West Palm.


Impact 100 is a worldwide organization with more than 60 chapters and steadily growing. Their motto is "One Woman, One Meeting, One Vote.” It is designed for women who wish to find an efficient and collaborative means of creating transformational change in their community. Women can become as involved as they wish in the process.


Impact grants fund the following service areas: Arts & Culture; Education; Environment and Animal Welfare; Health & Wellness; and Family.


Impact the Palm Beaches is a charitable fund of the Town of Palm Beach United Way.
