We are proud to announce Cris Hayes as this month’s member spotlight.
Cris has been a member of Impact the Palm Beaches since 2018 when she joined as a way to better understand and support the needs of our community. Being able to connect with like-minded women interested in philanthropy has been very fulfilling for her.
She first moved to Florida in 1990, settling in Ponte Vedra Beach. Then in 2018, she relocated to Old Palm Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens where she is currently retired and enjoys cooking, bridge, canasta, and mahjong.
Her professional career spanned several industries including the eye care field, real estate agent, school teacher, and retail boutique owner.
As did her philanthropic and community endeavors. She is the co-founder of the Hayes Family Foundation, former board member of Highlands Community Fund plus a co-founder and past president of Cullasaja Women's Outreach, another woman-based philanthropic organization in North Carolina. She was a divisional vice-president for the Vicksburg, MS Chamber of Commerce and chairman of various fundraising projects including Ronald McDonald House, Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry, and the Jacksonville University Friends of the Fine Arts.
Cris is married with two children and four grandchildren, all living in Atlanta.
