Our August Member Spotlight celebrates Sue Hutcheon, a founding member of Impact the Palm Beaches.
As one of the original 100 members to launch Impact in Northern Palm Beach County, Sue “caught the bug” early as she likes to say. She remembers the mad scramble to find 100 ladies to commit to this crazy, fledgling, inspirational mission. She served on the grants committee very early and poured over the original 20 or so applications.
Fast forward ten years - and almost
$2 million in collective giving since inception - and Sue still has the bug! She currently serves on the Impact Board as co-chair of Sponsorships and is working to help lay the groundwork and establish the infrastructure to move Impact into its next decade.
This year she is very excited to secure 500 members to give away five $100,000 grants to commemorate our 10th year of Impact! AND she wants your help!
Sue is no stranger to the many needs in Palm Beach County. She is a First Vice President of Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services in West Palm Beach. She is a founding member of Lansing Hutcheon Wealth Management. For almost 30 years she and her team has worked with community leaders, charitable individuals, and not-for-profit organizations in our community to reach their financial goals.
As we kick off our 10th year of Impact the Palm Beaches, Sue asks everyone of us to secure a new member, engage a new sponsor, and get the word out. Catch the bug and help us IMPACT the Palm Beaches!!!
