Members Lisa Russo and Sonia Cooper represented Impact The Palm Beaches at the Impact100 Global Conference in Detroit June 21-23.
Over 115 Impact Members from around the globe including Australia were in attendance!
The event kicked off with engaging and insightful Keynote Speakers: including Florine Mark (former president and CEO of The WW – Weight Watchers) and Impact Founder Wendy Steele.
Over the next two days, fifteen breakout sessions were hosted by different chapters discussing best practices around all facets of the Impact100 model offered. Topics ranged from:
What technology is right for your chapter?
DIY Survey Research
The Model Works
Tools and Tips for Effective Marketing
Process and Tools for Grant Review
We enjoyed an offsite dinner within walking distance from the host hotel that had the best views of the city (and Canada!) at One Campus Martius.
“Nurturing belonging through DEI actions and equitable grant making” kicked off the final day. The panel included Emme Zanotti, Bridget Hurd, and Amy Bourque.
Debbie Ritchie’s powerful and thought-provoking closing remarks on “ The Power of Story” was the perfect final speaker.
A lot of great information was shared and we learned lots of new ideas to bring back to our own chapters. Yet again, we were surrounded by dynamic, bright, and successful women. It was positively exhilarating!
The event was well attended, and very well organized, including a conference app for information on all of the presenters and their presentations.
