Impact the Palm Beaches is a philanthropic organization where women collectively give to nonprofits in Central and Northern Palm Beach County to ignite transformational change through five core service areas:
American Association of Caregiving Youth
2023/24 $100,000 Grant Recipient
​
American Association of Caregiving Youth champions, supports and celebrates youth who provide care for chronically ill, injured, elderly, and/or disabled family members. Founded in 1998 in Boca Raton, FL, what evolved to become the American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY) by 2010 has been at the forefront of addressing the needs and challenges faced by this huge, hidden population for over 16 years. The organization offers direct services to middle and high school students in Palm Beach County and is a leading national authority on matters related to Caregiving Youth.
Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies
2023/24 $100,000 Grant Recipient

Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County’s (HMHB) mission is to nurture healthy births and families by meeting the physical, emotional, economic, and social challenges of pregnancy and infant wellness. HMHB was established in 1986, when Palm Beach County experienced a tragic increase in poor birth outcomes from a lack of available prenatal care, especially for low-income women. Begun as a volunteer-driven agency, HMHB grew through the decades and now boasts 67 professionals on staff serving more than 10,000 expectant women each year. The organization’s 38-year history is packed with leading edge initiatives to prevent and eliminate health disparities for diverse pregnant women, infants, and families in Palm Beach County.
The Lord's Place
2023/24 $100,000 Grant Recipient

The Lord’s Place is dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providing innovative, compassionate and effective services to men, women and children in our community. The agency has served vulnerable households in Palm Beach County for more than 40 years, starting as a soup kitchen in 1980 and then creating the first shelter for homeless families in Palm Beach County a few years later. Today, the agency provides street outreach, housing, job training, health care support, and other essential services for the homeless community. Altogether, The Lord’s Place houses 175 households a day and serves more than 1,800 people a year.
Busch Wildlife Sanctuary
2023/24 Impact Merit Grant Recipient

For 40 years, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary has been dedicated to the conservation of Florida’s wildlife and natural resources through its mission of wildlife rehabilitation and environmental education. Each year, the agency treats 6,000 injured, sick and orphaned wildlife, and over 50% are avian species. The Sanctuary also provides over 500 free educational classes to more than 220,000 visitors. In October 2023, the agency opened a new 19.4-acre site in Jupiter Farms. The facility is free and open to the public.
Take Stock In Children
2023/24 Impact Merit Grant Recipient

Founded in 1995, Take Stock in Children is the only college attainment-focused mentoring program of its kind in Florida. No other mentoring program in Florida includes a guaranteed 2-year college scholarship and wraparound college access support services that spans 8+ years of direct service (beginning as early as the 6th grade.) Take Stock’s mission is to promote self-worth and academic success for disadvantaged youth by providing evidence-based wraparound services: one-on-one mentoring, college readiness coaching, post-secondary retention and a guaranteed college scholarship. Since its founding, Take Stock has impacted over 2,000 students in Palm Beach County and awarded over $20M in full-tuition scholarships to underserved youth, 100% of whom live at/below the federal poverty guideline.
Alzheimer's Community Care

Since 1996, Alzheimer's Community Care has been dedicated to providing community-based, family-centered care for patients and their caregivers living with neurocognitive disorders through the belief that where there is help, there is hope.
Center for Child Counseling

Since 1999, the Center for Child Counseling has been dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families in Palm Beach County. Their services focus on promoting positive mental health for children, families, and the community. They support thousands of children each year, preventing and healing the effects of adverse childhood experiences and trauma, while promoting resiliency and healthy relationships.

Wounded Veterans Relief Fund
2022/23 Impact $100,000 Grant Recipient

Wounded Veterans Relief Fund is an organization led by veterans, for veterans. The organization exists to provide emergency financial assistance and critical dental support to qualified disabled veterans.
Families First
2022/23 Impact Merit Grant Recipient
​
For over three decades, Families First has been providing a hand up to families so they can find their way back to self-sufficiency and provide safe, loving homes for children. Their services are directed toward family strengthening, health, behavioral health, and housing. Many of the 51,000 children and family members served through their prevention and early intervention services have returned to being contributing, self-sustaining members of the community – saving taxpayers millions of dollars in dependency and criminal justice services, special education, homeless services, and financial aid.
Feed the Hungry Pantry
2021/22 Impact $100,000 Grant Recipient

Since 1987 Feed the Hungry has been feeding people throughout Palm Beach County. Feed the Hungry gives nutritious groceries to 10,000+ families every week of all races and religions, including 1,100+ hungry seniors and people with disabilities who receive in-home deliveries
Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County

In 1989, the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County was started by community leaders. Its mission is to improve the quality of life in our community by promoting and achieving literacy, with the vision of every resident becoming a reader.
Project LIFT, Inc
2021/22 Impact Merit Grant Recipient

Project LIFT’s innovative delivery of mental health services provides therapy through the unique platform of vocational training. At no cost, at risk 14–21-year-old young men and women engage in hands-on training in a variety of fields mentioned below, while licensed therapists work with them to address issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, abuse and anger management.
Clinics Can Help
2020 Impact $100,000 Grant Recipient

Clinics Can Help is an agency that accepts the donation of durable medical equipment and supplies then redistributes those items to people who need them but may not be able to afford them.
​
Since receiving an Impact the Palm Beaches $100,000 grant in 2021, Clinics Can Help has expanded its mission of providing medical equipment and supplies to children and adults who would not have had easy access to this assistance. Thanks to the Impact Mobile Unit, they have increased the number of children and adults they have been able to assist in the western communities of Belle Glade, Pahokee, Canal Pointe, and South Bay, by over 400%!
